Who is Teri
Manager of To M.E. or not to M.E.
Wife, mother, grandmother, massage therapist, reiki practitioner, life coach, growing person.
I have a Certificate in Health Sciences from the Life Research Centre for Studies in
Brantford, Ontario; a BA in Business with a Minor in psychology from Columbia College, am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist as well as a second degree
Reiki Practitioner. I've held positions as a Master Training Specialist in the Navy, teaching remedial reading, remedial math and English to foreign
speaking recruits, Social Worker (Children's Aid Society, Brantford, Ontario), Assistant Director of Parent's Anonymous (Windom county, Vermont), and
Massage Therapist in in my own practice (Hotsprings, NC). In the early 90's, I led workshops in life transitions and owned a part time Life Coaching
practice. In 1995 I stopped working to care for my disabled husband and to home school my 2 children. When my youngest turned 18, it was time to go back to
work.
After letting my massage license lapse while home schooling the kids, I've just completed a course of study at AB Tech and am gearing up for the National
Certification Exam. I'm hoping to have my North Carolina Massage License by August.

It's raining out again this morning. I feel totally cheated this summer. We've had nothing but rain interspersed with just enough sunshine to tease. I'm not getting my pool time or my tan time in. Today is big for us. My toe where the bee stung me is on fire so I've been taking Benadryl regularly. Without it, the pain and itch go all the way up my leg. And Chandra is having all her wisdom teeth out today. Not a good day to be in a Benadryl daze eh? lol. At 2 I have my doctor's appointment for the tummy trouble that's been plaguing me. Yuck. I write it all down and it looks a lot harder than it feels lol.GOOD TUESDAY MORNING!

I did finally call the doctor yesterday and got an appointment for Thursday. Hopefully, I'll be well by then lol. Tomorrow is Ed's birthday, so today I must get out and about and gather things for a family birthday party.

OMG I wish I'd slept last night. I drank a cup of coffee way too late in the day and it was 5:30 AM before I fell asleep. And yep... today is Bele Chere day. I'm thinkin' nap before we go? lol.
